Lottery app

I've had so many conversations with people who scan their tickets on the app and it says "not a winner "

But when they check in a shop they've won something....

I find it ridiculous as the numbers haven't changed magically to suit the shops scanner.

Anybody hear the same story?

Never come across that. I check numbers from the the app but always check the ticket using the scanner too...just in case.
