Putting too much pressure on yourself...

Watching too many posts on social media about baking and walking and the amazing pictures of mountains and salads and banana bread and....f##k offfff

Listening to friends go on about how much they have achieved...

It's perfectly ok to eat cereal from the box and binge watch the walking dead or Bridgeton or breaking bad...

It's also acceptable but not recommended to allow the kids chocolate for breakfast...

Stop comparing....it results in nothing except overthinking and sadness....

Now I'm off for a 5k walk...

Or maybe I'll stick on the tablet and watch more of the last dance

One thing I have learned in the last year no point comparing your life to someone else's and especially when it comes to social media. Its a highlight reel simple as. I found if a person I followed on Instagram annoyed me or I started feeling worthless etc I just stopped following.

Have seen a post on few different sites something along lines of " If we put all our problems into a pile must of us would take our own back "

No, I don't compare myself with others. Or use social media for that matter, other than fab.

We are only ever competing with ourselves.

I ran. I ran until my muscles burned and my veins pumped battery acid. Then I ran some more.

Comparison is the thief of your joy.

People only put on a highly polished moment on social media. Often times their mental health is worse than your own.

Remember you are always enough
