This is something that has been highlighted in the past few days in some quarters.

Why are people wearing shorts in sub zero Ireland?

This is not the goddam Mediterranean

Its fucking baltic lads, that's why you got a coat, hat and gloves on but why the shorts

I can wear shorts in this weather. Happily will wear skirts and tightz, my legs just don’t get cold really.

It's all about what you're used to. I was knee deep in snow on top of a mountain at the weekend. With wind chill it was -10 so wouldn't be practical for shorts but I've worn them in cold weather.

The point is this

If you are acknowledging the cold weather by adorning aby of the following; Wooly hat, gloves, coat etc.

Why then wear shorts?

Its fucking winter on a rock in the h'Atlantic

Body heat is lost through extremities so as long as you wear a hat and gloves there's no real issue. Wearing shorts can be about freedom of movement if you are walking or hiking.

And some people have hairy knees anyway so don't feel the cold.

Kaizer is a cold blooded creature who prefers tropical or warm climates as opposed to these harsh winters.

Yes, the Manbeast does have a furry exterior but this acts a protective layer against, fire and such. Not as insulation actual insulation DH
