Who is working from home?

I'm sitting here working from home at 1PM on a Tuesday contemplating whether or not to open the 3 bottles of beer I've left in the Fridge from Christmas.

Got me thinking - What's the worst, funniest, or more intriguing thing you've done or got away with while working at home?

Youghal

Mr Datenite has always worked 1 or 2 days at home pre covid, we've had daytime meets where he's been working and on calls while the fun has been continuing in the background.

During lockdown we once did the day drinking thing on a Friday whilst he "worked" from home.

As a nautical engineer it's been tough adjusting to working from home but lately sails have been through the roof!

I’ve been working at home since March with the occasional trip to the office. Zoom / Teams meetings have kept things going. Working from home means no suit everyday though one of the first zoom meetings I wore a shirt tie and jacket for a laugh knowing everyone else would be casual. It got the desired laugh but what they did t realise was that’s all I was wearing.

I’ve (Rhett, the hubby and the eye candy of the duo) not been in the office at all since March. I worked from home twice a week prior but still a huge adjustment (especially with kids off).

Had a few boozy afternoons and even BBQs over a longer lunch in Summer, but ended up stopping the drink altogether out of fear of turning my dad bod into a dad blob.

Other upside was more playtime with Scarlett and a sneaky poke every other day. However kids being back at home makes that trickier, but we will find a way!

I have been working from home since the whole thing started in MArch 2020. Thanks to this,I spent 4 months in Catalunya in the spring, 1.5 months in Turkey in the Summer and November in Tenerife.

Never had the option of working from home. Furloughed from last March until Sept. Made redundant but been working part time since in another role that requires a 45 min commute each way.

Due to the current restrictions I probably won't have to worry about working for much longer anyway as uncertainty caused every single customer to cancel their orders for this week.

Did any staff in the shop get the virus since the start of lockdowns

The Road to Nowhere

Wfh and in the office mix.

I'm less tired working from home...gives me back 2 & a half hours of my day from my commute.

I did do a days work (at home!) in a vest & knickers. Not really fun. Was just too warm

I'm working from home since March. Yes I'm saving 3.5 hours commute x 3 days but it's very lonely at home. I don't have zoom calls so pjs every day which is a bad habit. I never get a minute to doss, very pressurised job doing accounts.

I know we're safer at home but I'm really missing my colleagues

Aw I know. Was so so happy I got the option to even do the 3 days at home. It's a painful drive
