Read somewhere that a huge percentage of stuff ordered on amazon.de gets delivered from uk warehouse so you have to be sure of where its being shipped from

Parcel motel has suspended its UK virtual address. An post one still works but is subject to customs charges.

Anything arriving into the country from UK from tomorrow is subject to customs too. Doesnt matter when you ordered it.

How does it work now the customs part! Do you pay the customs when your paying for item or what?

"How does it work now the customs part! Do you pay the customs when your paying for item or what? "

No because the customs and vat is an Irish charge so you pay it before delivery is made by the courier in some cases or when you collect a package from the an post sorting office

I had to pay last week for a package from America and it had to be cash as its a separate charge that doesn't go into the normal An post card payment system

Honestly dude i not know ,but it's gonna be a effing pain.I see example on RTE Sporting item priced at 167 euro will cost you 226.32 euro ,probably delivery charge after that.

Yep they are right it's when the item is delivered not when you ordered it. And you pay it on arrival of your parcel same as for stuff from the States. The sad news is that a lot of UK online stores may not deliver to Ireland anymore. Had an email yesterday they cancelled the order refunded my money and saying they can't guarantee deliveries to Ireland at the moment

Everything you bought will be written on the customs forum and stuck on the front on the parcel to.

I ordered stuff yesterday afternoon - €400 including delivery.

If it turns out, the couriers want more money - ha return to sender springs to mind, uk will get a wake up call for there decision to leave
