Think this lockdown is going to be hard on a lot more people especially the people who have worked all along and anyone who has abided by the rules. It is so frustrating. It doesn't seem that long ago I was sitting in work on paddy's day laughing about working from home for a "few weeks".

Sometimes a good cry and just saying to someone " ah you know what this is shite and im fed up" is allowed.

Hope you feeling a little bit better today. Xx

Gods Own Country

Difficult time of the year for so many of us without family around but I find it very therapeutic seeing the joy that Christmas brings to others, I feed off their positivity.

Hoping your feeling better soon

Somewhere in Co. Down

It's been a tough year for most of us. Yes there have been days where I've felt crap and pissed off. Working yesterday was one of those days but it has to be done. Today's another day and I'm off so all is good. I try and remember I'm lucky I have a job that is secure when so many don't. Even though sometimes it's exhausting and mentally draining especially this time of year and this year in particular.

But bad days come and go and hopefully the better days are more frequent than the days we are at low points.

I try not to get bothered by what others do because there is nothing anyone can do about others action we can only be responsible for our own. There is no point in getting upset over what we cannot change.

Hopefully the next year will be better.

Op that is so sad to hear and I think we can all relate. We all took the simple things for granted so much. like a big hug from your mum for example. We just have to hang in there for a little while longer and keep positive that we are moving back towards normality again. So many people like yourself are making enormous sacrifices and just know that it is hugely appreciated by most people.
