OK I'm bored in work and my feet are freezing.
So any tips for how to get through the next few days
1) make sure you have stocked up on batteries for Xmas day as Santa doesn't bring them.
2) soak the marrowfat peas overnight

Don't leave all the present wrapping til Christmas Eve - it always takes longer than you think!
Knutty Crust is the best bread for breadcrumbs for your stuffing. Buy it now so it's slightly stale and dry and easier to breadcrumb in a couple of days

I always thought mushy peas were cooked marrowfat peas that were mushed up
But yes the marrowfat peas soaking for 8 hrs with the tablet in the bowl was a staple of sunday dinners in my parents house |

I'm inclined to think you're correct about the marrowfat/mushy peas. I'm pretty sure it's marowfats that are used to make mushy peas. I love both myself. |

I'm inclined to think you're correct about the marrowfat/mushy peas. I'm pretty sure it's marowfats that are used to make mushy peas. I love both myself. "
