Not at all. But it would be great if everyone followed the guidelines to minimise the impact for everyone. That doesn't require living under a bed as you put it. It does require compassion and empathy and a bit of selflessness.

"Part of the problem is a lack of knowledge of where exactly the border is. This was highlighted a couple of weeks ago when the Guards set up a checkpoint a few hundred yards into NI and had to be advised by locals. | |||

"I make the most of it but some of the rules make little or no sense. closing x and leaving y open. it's what everyone is complaining about. what they did to the hospitality sector today and hairdressers was a disgrace. 2 days notice. hairdressers have gone above and beyond with protective measures and no cases linked to them.
