"What 3 words spring to mind when you think of 2020?
Allow the Manbeast to commence.....
Lockdown Liverpool Champions
You got there before me "
The only silver lining on an otherwise shitebag of a year |

"Could've been worsehow could it "
As my father used to cheerfully say, there's nothing so bad it couldn't be worse
Personally, 2020 sucked from the day of my cousin's death last January, but there have been worse years. Then again, it's not over yet.... |

Got a once every 800 year planetary alignment tonight - I'm waiting to see if that brings alien invasion or some kind of gravitational disturbance that knocks us off axis |

You could be dead.
It could always be worse.
This year has been the kick in the arse we all needed to realize what's important in life.
Focus on the positives people |

Normally I do, but this last month has been really fucking trying. I already knew what was important in life, the health and happiness of my loved ones, when that's under threat it's difficult to keep your best side out at all times. I know there will be better days, this week I'm wallowing |

"Hopefully we will laugh this time next year and if course partying. "
What gets me through it is knowing that one day I will be watching all this on Reeling in the Years going, "Jesus, remember that?" |

"Could've been worsehow could it "
No dont get me wrong it was shit it really was.
But im focusing on the positives. None of my close family were affected by the virus. A close family member who we thought may of had their last Christmas is still with us and doing great.
So ya it was shit but it could have been worse personally 2019 was a worse year for me. |

I've had lots of worse years despite losing my job this year and lots of uncertainty over the new one.
It taught me to look at life differently.
I can honestly say I don't know a single person who has had covid so I must be one of the lucky ones |

I'm with you on this for sure. A dreadful year but has given many time to reflect and plan for a simpler life. |

"It's nearly over!"
What??? I truly wish.... vaccine rollout will take months and months...
Just dreadful for the people within hospitality as they are now the only ones left on the street with everything else kept open... just promotes house gatherings which are uncontrolled and is the cause of some 80% of the spread of disease...
But there is light at the end of the tunnel. Albeit being it still a long long tunnel
Happy Christmas to all |
