Can also throw Christmas Shoes into the mix. Fabricated, fake, and woeful attempt to earn some of that Christmas royalty goldmine. If memory serves, it was written for a Hallmark-type Christmas movie. Says it all! |

The absolute worst song of all time.... Not just Christmas is that spanner of a human being Brian Kennedy and his diabolical "Christmas morning"!

Andy Williams- it's the most wonderful time of the year : listening to this song just like many other Christmas songs feels like someone took a huge rock off the ground, painted words "jolly, joy, happiness", took that rock firmly into their fist and rammed it down your throat. Repeatedly.
Mariah Carey - all I want for Christmas is you : from working in hospitality for over 15 years I've worked my fair share of Christmas parties and I can singlehandedly say that most of any workplace affairs happen because some d*unken Sharon and Stephen who dont go out that much have pointed at each other during this song, then had some sloppy d*unken sex somewhere in toilets which lead to one of them eventually leaving their jobs as working together have become too awkward. Bonus points if co workers have seen them and began some Chinese whispers. Horrid song.
The waitresses- Christmas wrapping : this song has a very special place in hell. It's like every single weather and season describing fab message put together into a tuneless mess. |

Some classic shite called out above, particularly Brian Kennedy and Bon Jovi as horrible songs.
I can't stand the Slade one and the Wizzard one either. Awful shite, the names of which I happily can't recall, as I'm now an old fart and listen to Newstalk more than music stations, so mercifully haven't heard them this year.
No! It's OK helpful forum posters, there's absolutely no need to remind me of the names of the songs, thanks.
Also, original Fairytale of New York I love but after the 5th time hearing it in the same day, it can grate a little.
For the PC crowd, Shane has said the "offensive" lyrics are how the characters in the song would have spoken to each other so it's contextual, which should never be changed in any song ever, as it loses it's meaning  |
