Would you date a transexual?

Jump to: Newest in thread

By (user no longer on site) OP     over a year ago

Just a random thread as I had a random thought of my previous experiences.

I guess I have always liked tgirls since I was 18. I remember watching the sky one show "there's something about Miriam" and heard she made a porn. So I downloaded it off kazaa (anyone remember that?) And ... I guess I was hooked.

Fast forward a couple of years to when I was 23 and I was with two Asian tgirls here in Dublin (just sex) One of which was a really great person looking back. But I remember feeling that I couldn't let anyone know I was with them.

It had to remain "a deep dark secret".

So I was looking at the transexual hot pictures today and one in particular I was like "fuck I'd have no problem calling her my gf" mind of thinking. Which, of course, got me thinking and creating this thread.

I am more mature now. I am more open and of course I've realised to not care what people think.

That said, I thought what if I had a tgirl for a gf. What would my family say? What would people I work with say? .... Not that I'd care too much. But you just know that people would be talking and some would consider you a "freak"

It's mad that as progressive Ireland is compared to yesterday's past we still aren't quite that open.

Personally speaking, I think I wouldn't have an issue now knowing my partner is a tgirl. But the question is, to those who are attracted to, would you date a tgirl?

I wouldn't as it's just not something I am into it at all (we like what we like). Ironically I think people will become intolerant of people's vanilla choices hahaha.

But I think if you got the people you know to watch Ru Paul's Drag race it would help your situation. I know they are Drag not Transgender...but it opens up that whole world and to accept all...also a lot of them are trans.

South Side.

I've met quite a few T girls, no Irish people, they are all Brazilian. I find the idea intriguing, and I'm very curious. I think people are very tolerant and open minded, and once the curiosity of their sexuality is out of the way, family and friends would be OK with it. Thanks for sharing this story, OP, hopefully it might encourage all the other men who like TGirls, to overcome their feelings of shame and guilt around their "dirty secret".

I don’t know much about Ts life but the ts ladies whose pix turn up on the hot pix are unbelievably beautiful and I admire them hugely. There is a really good series on Netflix called “Pose” set in NY in the 80s and 90s. I don’t know how accurate it is or how reflective but there seems to have been a lot of input from the ts community and it is really interesting. It certainly gave me a better perspective and understanding.

Ultimately life is every shade of grey and you can’t spend it wondering what others might say so I guess if you meet a ts lady who you want to spend time with than you’d be mad not to.

All you have to do is look at fab as a case study, so many men here hide their sexuality or the fact they meet tv/ts because of the judgement they get from others. I think like a lot of things in ireland it is still a taboo subject and most keep it secret.

Honestly I think for a large percentage of guys on here it's just seen as a dirty little kink. The amount of messages from guys that want 'discretion' is just a little disheartening.

Some of their pics are stunning.

Can't name a favourite in case I get Naughty Step but Salpa has now gone for full changeover operation, according to a recent status. She was stunning beforehand, I should say.

Now that I could get on board with.

Still having a cock, I'm not sure i could.

Just being honest and putting it more obvious than some above have.

I do wish there was a chart for the different terms, which explained the persons own perception of themselves and the the different state/stage of genitalia/preference, or whatever the logical way to explain all this is.

Only heard this week it's not LGBT but rather LGBTQIA.

What the heck are all them?

From an auld fart here, so apologies to any of the letters i might offend by asking

Kinda yes.

Also have to think about their original gender mind though.

That must be a headwreck.

Born as one gender, not feeling it, want to change but to what degree.

Not something I want to get into now as I've had beer and might say something stupid but its a minefield.

Yes but they would be dating a tv (me) which is usually a rare for a trans girl to be into.

Why not if that what makes you happy?! I'm on the line of human rights. So to me being open about your relationship with a TS girl conveys the message to society that they deserve to be seen and that, like every human being, they deserve a safe space to exist and develop their lives out of secrecy and in the so, nowadays craved, "normality". All this will only create a language of acceptance from others.

That is very well said.

However I can't blame others to be scared or ashamed to be seen with a trans when some of the trans themselves are ashamed to be identified as one.

Well said...but it is a different society there.

It is not like here where a guy puts on panties and is suddenly a TV. They spend a fortune with breast implants etc and look absolutely stunning! Very often better looking than Thai ladies who look stunning anyway.

Yep...some are extremely embarrassing to be with, but have had many crazy evenings with groups of Ladyboys/Shemales,TV's etc in some bar where the crack was 90.

Accept them for what they are and you will meet the lovliest, funniest people and have great evenings at beach bar etc.

No...haven't had sex with them, just many great evenings having a few beers and food.

It says more about the person keeping the relationship secret than society.

If men are attracted to tGirls just say it and change their preferences on dating apps/fab etc

Interesting thread.

Would a cis woman date a transgender man ?

The topic usually focuses on cis men dating transgender women.

In my experience as a TV I'd estimate 90% of the mails I get are from men with straight as their orientation . Within that group how many would date a TV who lived that way 24/7 ...how many would if it was an occasional lifestyle choice ?

I'd imagine much higher % would apply to guys who would sleep with and to a lesser degree date someone who is transgender.

To me... a transgender woman is a woman but I also recognise personal taste and some guys just won't have any interest and it isn't neccesarily anti-trans to say that .

Yes. My persuasion is for the feminine form and behaviour, so it matters nothing to me if that feminine person has a dick between their legs or not. As shallow as it may sound, if the other person looks nice and treats me like a human being, then they get treated the same way. I will happily do my best to pleasure them in whichever way THEY ask.
