Keep watching it and sit there wondering why, just cannot take to it and as for the character Michael I actually just want to slap her and throw her overboard. |

She's a disastrous character. She's meant to be a prodigy but also the finest Starfleet has to offer - ok, I can kinda swallow that... But then she is insubordinate and mutionious like every 3 episodes. Sheds a few tears and away she goes. An awful character.
And let's not mention Ash Tyler.
Saru should definitely have been the main character. |

"Have to say one of the best series I watched this year was the Harley Quinn cartoon series!"
I concur. Was hesitant at first but it's a damned triumph!
Bravo. |

I have to agree. Discovery started off OK.. it was watchable and provided some entertainment value. I looked one day to see the new series and started watching. It was nothing short of pure terror and tripe to my eyes and ears. Had to shut it down fast. Picard on the other hand was excellent. Looking forward to new episodes |

I will not.
I wholeheartedly agree with you. It's not Star Trek.
You know the way most Trek series are shortened to abbreviations like TOS (The Original Series), TNG (The Next Generation), DS9 (Deep Space Nine) and so on....
Well Star Trek Discovery is STD.... need I say more? |

Only watched the first two episodes and I'm undecided tbh. It's OK from what I've seen and one of my mates keeps saying it gets better. I'll watch a few more and see if it goes anywhere |

Discovery is something to have on that’s watchable but that’s about it. I do love the starting credits though.
I was disappointed with Picard tbh, too ponderous & as for Mando it’s ok if you want a Clint Eastwood Spaghetti western in space

Have to say I thought Discovery had massive potential.... As did Picard.... But as a life long Trekkie both have ultimately disappointed.
Flashes of greatness in the darkness... But that's all. |

Just have to remember with new trek that as much as they want to do justice to the old shows, they are also trying to draw in new audiences, its surprising how well it works.
Discovery had a terrible start at season 1, but got good when they travelled to the mirror universe. Season 2 was actually the closest to traditional star trek, season 3 is 9 episodes in and only just starting to get good |

"I've always been a fan of SG1 got the complete box set series of stargate atlantis, wondering is it good, any fabsters watch it"
SG1 amazing, better than the original movie, Atlantis is a great spin off, and Universe is the darker more serious side. |

When I started watching it I thought at least it's better than Voyager. But I started watching Vovager again since September and it's actually better than Discovery and Picard. No start trek since 2009 has any re-watchability and Discovery is the worst. |

"Deep space nine was the best Trek in my eyes
We loved the war, absolutely perfect " It showed us the darker side of trek. My favourite episode was the siege of AR-558 it showed the real horror of war |

Terrible. On every level, terrible.
Voyager is amazing in retrospect. Constantly trying to do the right thing even in really hard situations.
Picard and discovery threw the federation under the bus. Picard has merit doing that, but when combined with the fact that lower decks is out and discovery then it's a total mess. Michael is just dreadful. |

Discovery is ok but not fantastic. I haven’t bothered with lower decks cos it’s a comedy. The 1st season of Picard was rubbish in my opinion and it didn’t make any sense to me. I’m really looking forward to seeing strange new worlds. I reckon that’s gonna save trek. |

It's what happens when 'enlightened' male producers think they can make a show that women will want to watch.
Just give the role to any of the great female writers and directors. |
