Recently been made aware that this stands for Big Handsome Man/Men, as in the male version of a BBW. Are the many women into this, and if so, why have I not met them? |

Does anyone know the parameters which qualify a man into a BHM ? Weight? Clothing size ? Waist circumference ? Asking for a friend |

Yup - decided to revive an OLD thread to maybe help people out here as I consider myself a BHM.
A savvy young American lady once fashioned me with a granular breakdown of Male body types in her personal estimation, and a handy understanding of where a BHM fits on that scale. You ready? Sure..?? Absol.... ah ok here we go
Underweight ... Lanky ... Skinny ... Skinny fat (nope, I don’t know either!) ... Average ... Athletic ... Chunky athletic ... Chubby ... Dadbod ** Welcome to the BHM Zone** Proper overweight ... Obese

I can only speak on both lived experience at my end of the BHM scale and anecdotal evidence (Dating app replies etc) but given the choice, I can say there are pretty significant numbers (+98%) out there who wouldn’t even want to show up in a BHMs search results to even give him the option to approach. It remains their choice and an expression of their preference of course; while they may not easily be able to prevent that from happening in real life I sympathise with the frustration that it doesn’t exist in an app.
The site admins could do a lot in that regard, as there Are parameters one could input as part of their profile (alongside Age, gender etc) that others could include or exclude in their searches and contact criteria. At present, if one doesn’t want to be directly contacted by anyone under 40, it doesn’t happen. A finer filter will expose people to the kind of people (by personal preference) that they are happy to entertain contact from.
It is a personal preference and always to be respected of course; selfishly, it would also probably make it easier to gauge how many of the beautiful women here WOULD entertain contact from a BHM. If the search results returned a total of say 5 though, I’m sure the site would be BHM free |
