Have to say I agree James...its like handing someone a box of Dairy Milk instead of Milk Tray "
Haven't eaten chocolate in 8 years but when I did I always preferred Quality Street.
Working for years in the supply chain there was a visible drop in sales of Cadbury products when they were taken over by Mondelez.
Many products were actually returned by customers including creme eggs because they were convinced they had received a bad batch and literally couldn't give them away. |

Haven't eaten chocolate in 8 years but when I did I always preferred Quality Street.

There's a definite drop in the quality alright
I use to think it was because things always seemed nicer as kids but then I read that they changed the recipe

I love a walnut whip! But Quality Street are best of the tinned chocolates. I heard they intentionally only put in about 4 of the purple ones as they are the most popular and it creates an heir of mystery around them!! |
