I mentioned shaving my head bald in the bravest thread but it definitely counts for this too...
I genuinely can't think of anything else stupid sice lockdown, and I usually have plenty of clumsy/mad things happen... life's been fairly boring the past 8 months |

"I can’t be the only one who has done something stupid...
You can't say that and not elaborate!!! I'm incredibly brilliant so I don't do stupid things!!! "
I dyed my own hair. Badly. Not just first lockdown. 2nd too. My hair used to cost €70. It now costs €110. So instead I spend €10 on a box bleach. Fuck it up and the spend a further €40 on panic products to fix it. Then €30 on wine drowning my sorrows. Then go spend €110 getting it sorted in the hairdressers. I’ll learn my lesson at some stage. |

"Bought an expensive metal detector. Anyone want to buy a metal detector, used once..
Can you use one anywhere these days? How about on your own property? "
Yeah, can use on your own property, and beaches, need land owners permission for anywhere else |

Not permitted in the Republic:
"It is illegal [...] to use a detection device to search for archaeological objects anywhere within the State or its territorial seas; without the prior written consent of the Minister for Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht" (museum.ie)

"Shared my friends mask. She then tested positive. It was a good idea at the time, I'd left mine in the car and we were out for food. I only needed it to go up to the counter."
Wait. What?!
How in the name of Sweet Zombie Jesus did this seem like a good idea at the time?!
"I'd no condoms so I borrowed my buddies after he used it. Seemed like a good idea at the time...." |

Didn't check my tax and insurance before driving to a known Garda checkpoint. The insurance disk was hidden behind the expired one in the pouch and I had forgotten to renew the tax for the first time in 23 years |
