No. Not everyone is on the same journey and not everyone is here to rack up verifications.
Some people are only finding their feet and exploring a whole new world which shouldn't have a time limit. |

You don’t need to rack up the verifications. But they certainly serve a purpose. Could be right on the time limit. |

I came across a profile last night offering cam veris to new users. How does a cam veri prove your not fake or a time waster.
I find veris important as I least I know the guy is real, will turn up to meet. |

Well honestly it would depend on who verified them. One quality verification be it 12 months old is much better than someone who has weekly verifications of which is repetitive and all say the same things about the guys. |

No I don't think so. Veris don't mean a lot at the end of the day they certainly don't mean a profile isn't fake. Especially cam and pic veris I always take with a pinch of salt.
Plenty of people meet and don't veri each other as well.
And especially at this time it's very difficult for people especially men to get a veri so to put a time limit on that would be unfair.

I've just checked my veris there is 6 months between my last two veris, why should I be "punished" or whatever you think should happen if a person doesn't have a recent veri. |

Yes well I got judged for not having enough and that was by a woman, she also said she couldn't understand why I was in fab too . Rather odd lady. |

This exactly. And everyone has a right to have or not have veris. Just like if you show them or not. And anyhow if you actually talk to someone you usually get a pretty good idea if they are genuine or not. I've met several unverified people all showed up when we arranged to meet.
The only time I do take notice is if it is a veri from someone where I'd rather just avoid any drama that might follow if you meet the person. |

The site survives because of the amount of people that pay to be a site supporter
How many of them are not verified and no meets
The site wouldn't survive if these people were thrown off after 6 months
Why would they be thrown off?
Surely if they join a swinging site there should be an acceptance that they would need to eventually meet fellow swingers?

who needs labels . We are all here for what we want to get out of Fab. So what if some just want chat or others want to meet. We all have a right to chose for ourselves and do what makes us happy. As long as someone is respectful of others they in my eyes should be allowed here with being categorised or labelled. |

Photo verification should be mandatory, if for no other reason than to prove you are over 18.
Since there's no 'live' pic option here, some sort of timed random photo, touching your left eyebrow with your right finger (or one of many other combos of pics) to be provided within five minutes of the request would work.
No-one has yet to give a decent explanation as to why someone could be on here for months without anyone in charge having seen something that proves they're legal to be here. |

This exactly. And everyone has a right to have or not have veris. Just like if you show them or not. And anyhow if you actually talk to someone you usually get a pretty good idea if they are genuine or not. I've met several unverified people all showed up when we arranged to meet.
The only time I do take notice is if it is a veri from someone where I'd rather just avoid any drama that might follow if you meet the person.
Absolutely totally see how they serve a purpose when you want to avoid someone

No I've seen quite a few profiles that are not real with pic veris so as far as I'm concerned photo veris mean nothing. There are a few that even pop up on the forums pretty regularly that have pic veri sometimes and veris every time that are fake as hell. |

I got messages from a guy who was meet, photo and cam verified I did a reverse Google search on his pictures he was using pictures of a deceased z list celebrity explain to me how all those verifications kept anyone safe op? |

I think if ppl have been on fab even 6 months to a year is great time to rack a few if any verifications up.....I know most of mine are cam ones but I've met a good lot in 9 months....find it strange if talking to someone who's been on here even a year but no verifications or pictures up? Or is that just me? |

We both looked at each others profile since this thread started because we've never had any interaction before so we make a judgement about each other and have a conversation on here
I did say I read verifications but to be honest any meet I've had is based on my own intuition in dealing with the people or couple in private conversations.
Some people find it hard to find their feet on here and I don't think they should be punished for that |

That already happens non paying accounts are restricted , also people can restrict non verified people from contacting them. Most people I know have that filter in place. So just want that filter not to be a choice and that it automatically applies ? |

Maybe yes. Maybe restrict to one see profiles that are also non verified like there’s. Endless options to be fair. Doesn’t mean it would be right or wrong. But from your great examples restricted accounts definitely work |

Its a commercial site.. profiles drive traffic... traffic generates members, some of them upgrade and that makes cash for the site owners.
Nobody has any right to say if someone has to be verified or not. You only have control over your own actions and account, but you also have the control over how you interact with other profiles.
If you think they are fake ignore them. If they don't interest you ignore them. Focus on what you can control and don't worry about anything you can't and if someone chooses to have one account and hundreds ot veris or here years with none that's nothing to do with you.
The site owners at the end of the day don't care if you verified or not or are here weeks or months or years once you follow their basic rules. |

If it's the same person I'm thinking of they are back again pic veried again as well. How I don't know but it is a constant circle. They come get kicked off are back weeks later. The only surprise is how long it takes then to come back each time. |

With mobile internet and shared IP addresses this is less successful than it once was when everyone accessed from a desktop or laptop.

I guess it depends like the more meet verifications you have the more likely you will get invited to certain parties but of course if parties isn't your thing then the number of your verifications and how recent they are wouldn't really matter to you to me this isnt some kind of race and plus we are on the middle of a pandemic so you have to take that into account |

I think i said I've seen fake profiles verified start threads and couldn't understand how
It's since been explained that a verified profile setting up fakes can verify the fake in the first place which allows them to post |
