Lithuania/Africa - Mind Blown

I've always wondered why Lithuania chose Yellow, Green and Red for its Flag as they are colours which are more associated with African countries, and not Eastern European.

Well, I've just discovered that the shape of Lithuania is literally the same shape as a slightly squished Africa, Madagascar included.

As a Geography, Map and Flag nerd this is awesome to me.

Mind truly blown.
