Hi box if walking

some where near

Hi there

Just a word to people walking in the evening or early morning

Please wear a hi vis and maybe a little torch

Witnessed a close call this evening in a town suitation

Couldn't see the pedestrian

And just noticed a lot of people didn't have any form of bright clothing in a area that's relatively safe for walking but with the dark wet evening it's important to be seen

Stay safe and be seen

It's not always the drivers fault

Belfast

Had exactly that issue this evening with a farmer walking along a country road with no hi Vis or torch and he nearly got wiped out by the car in front of me.

Waterford

Also if you're out running, take care turning corners.

Just been out for a run and terrified a poor girl walking her dog as I turned a corner.

I apologized about 10 times

Luckily I have great reflexes though or she could have got a serious bounce off the ground

I can never understand how people go out walking in the dark with no hi-vis, nearly every house in Ireland must have a selection of hi-vis. I think there's 3 in the boot of my car and a collection of them from marshaling at rallies and other events.
