Are people allowed to knock on doors to partake?? I am not sure whether to buy some sweets for the callers, don’t want to buy lots in case they don’t call and I’m left with an amount of stuff I’ll just eat myself or if they call and I have nothing to give them....
Any advice my wise & wonderful Fabbers....?! |

As far as im aware trick or treating is a no no. My lot are devastated but im going to have a little party at home with games for them instead and a lot of the mothers ive spoken with are doing the same thing |

My youngest too old for trick or treat but loves Halloween she's gonna get dressed as Emily from the corpse bride been practicing the make up all day she looks brilliant also it entertained her for the day. |

Lol that'll keep the covid away.
I use a no-rinse steriliser at work which is food safe so it's easy enough to do. Will add in some red food colouring also

It's ridiculous. People mingle and distance in big supermarkets every day but Trick Or Treating isn't allowed ?
On the evening, you could stand in your open doorway for 45 mins or an hour, put up some bags on a table outside away from the door for collection and still greet the kids who come to your home (who will remain a good distance away anyway.) |

Maybe part of the problem is that the virus lives on surfaces of sweet packets or anything else a householder might touch
I was thinking of a table across the driveway with packets of treats laid out
But who's to say the older kids wouldn't pick up some packets and put them back down
I think for the first time in god knows how long the lights will be staying off at the front of the house and the gates closed which is a pity for the young kids but in the general scheme of things is the right thing to do

Kids won't get sick from the covid it the adults will get when they bring it home or the granny will get it a snuff paper bags prepared with plastic gloves on and left out side !! |

Probably the stupidest thing I've heard all day. Coming from a warehouse background the biggest issue when this all started was the fact that the virus lives on every surface it touches. It was one of the first things everyone was told. |

Our neighbourhood are doing a Pumpkin Hunt. Everyone got a letter with a pumpkin printed on the back.
We're doing it all week up to Sat night to allow social distancing and everyone gets out at different times.
Parents and their kids can go out dressed up looking for pumpkins. Everyone puts the pumpkin pic in their window or even a real one.
The parents carry a bag of treats and every pumpkins the kids find their parents give them a treat.
Keeps everyone safe and the kids still get out dressed up, have fun and get treats.  |
