Still loads of positive things can be done especially for your mental health during lockdown

I've read a couple of books for a start and about to go for a walk in either a forest or a beach

Anyone else got ideas for the rest of us

1. Stop talking about lockdowns.

Jaysus Christ whole of 2020 has been just a massive lock down everywhere you go. Everything you do is around lockdown, everywhere you see is lockdown.

Getting really sick of this never ending story now.

Cultivate positivity in your interactions with others.

When someone asks how you are, smile and say I'm great thanks, how are you? Negative Nancys drag everyone down.

Like Casey said, trying new recipes has been great fun in our house. I let my daughter pick 3 a week and then she has to do the shopping for the ingredients and cook them. She's 10, so can actually do a lot by herself now. I'm only her helper. It's been really fun actually.

Endless possibilities

Baking, gardening, bird watching, renovating, playing yenga, yoga, cycling (but not further than 5km from your home), clean the windows, put up a mad amount of Halloween decorations, knitting, fishing etc.

Most of all free your creative mind in whatever medium that suits you, go bit mad, there's an artist in everyone.

Sit and complain

Take to social media and give out

Be completely negative and tell anyone who's listening how itll never work and it's an infringement on your civil liberties...

Only a few suggestions....

I'll prob be baking bread and walking...doing the last few bits in the garden...having cups of tea and coffee...watching tv,reading...fuck it I might even sort out the shed

Until we are deemed essential again...prob after two weeks

Then itll be back to work

I (Mrs) haven't learned to play a new instrument but I've practiced the one I do play so much more and my technique has benefitted tons. I've also learned lots of new tunes and have another dozen or so on my list.

When I was home with my parents, I did a lot of cooking, crosswords, and took a lot of baths.

Since I've been back at my own place, I redecorated the whole place, built a lot of Ikea, and did a lot of clearing out and organising. Lots of sea swims and walks. Got a lockdown kitten!

I definitely need to come up with some new activities now the weather has changed.
