"In a Renault one time
Jeez what a thought. Mind you I would happily climb in beside one Mr Ragnotti !
Now that would be scary "
You want in my Renault? I drive like a young Michèle Mouton |

No point in new underwear. It happened to me 9 times in total by both sides of the community. A gun was involved on 6 occasions and force of numbers the other times.

Locked in a house after trying to leave a bad date. Totally thought I was going to be a news story when my body was found under the patio. Managed to get out and stayed date free for years after.
Lost in space and time on an Ayahuasca retreat. Thought I'd never get back! |

"We have been fortunate to live abroad for a few years in the US, but the most terrified I've ever been was O'Connell street when the bombs went off, I was very young but scared shitless."
It's a frightening thing to experience but when you grow up not knowing a life without bombs and shootings and have to walk twice daily through one of the largest and most heavily fortified army checkpoints ever constructed on your way to and from school you become immune.
I can genuinely say I can't remember the last time anything has shocked me apart from maybe 9/11 because of the scale.

So was my work colleague who wasn't there on the first occasion but was vocal about how he would have handled it. That resulted in stitches in the back of his head when it was introduced to the butt of the gun. |

"2 miles offshore between Greece and Turkey when the sail on my windsurfer broke"
That is one of my worst nightmares. It affected me so much that it took me years to be able to go more than a few 100ms from the shore.
Worst experience was caught out in the waves when a massive set started to break on me. Lost my board and started to taken in water. Thought I was a goner that day. A serious lesson learnt. |

The sea has a habit of being your friend one minute and in the blink of an eye your worst enemy. Reminds us just how small and insignificant we are. |
