No point in new underwear. It happened to me 9 times in total by both sides of the community. A gun was involved on 6 occasions and force of numbers the other times.

Locked in a house after trying to leave a bad date. Totally thought I was going to be a news story when my body was found under the patio. Managed to get out and stayed date free for years after.

It's a frightening thing to experience but when you grow up not knowing a life without bombs and shootings and have to walk twice daily through one of the largest and most heavily fortified army checkpoints ever constructed on your way to and from school you become immune.

I can genuinely say I can't remember the last time anything has shocked me apart from maybe 9/11 because of the scale.

So was my work colleague who wasn't there on the first occasion but was vocal about how he would have handled it. That resulted in stitches in the back of his head when it was introduced to the butt of the gun.
