Ya meeting for a ride is 100% the same as trying to maintain children's education.
This is such a ridiculous justification for non essential meets.
Dont get me wrong. If you want to continue to meet people that's your choice, people make their own assessments of the situation.

100s of antimask people have been protesting on the street's of Dublin the past couple of month's
And I don't see anyone here complaining
But hearing of private party's and meets still going ahead and there's an issue , makes you laugh surely people that are meeting aren't going there if they have any symptoms of covid .
Not all people have to consider bringing it home to elderly parents there's lots of people that don't have to worry about passing it on to other's .

I know of a whole family testing positive and not one had any symptoms. Only reason they got tested was because the mother of the family had been looking after a neighbour who tested positive. So your theory about not going to a party if you had symptoms doesnt work  |

People should be taking more responsibility. I go out if I need too with regards to work or essentials..I've met friends for coffee no more than twice out When the pubs was open I didn't once go into one. I'm looking after myself and others around me as best I can. People ain't taking this virus seriously and for own selfish reasons don't give a fuck about others. Speak to people who have either had the virus, Speak to families who have lost loved ones due to covid. People ain't stupid you know what is going on the world. It's bad enough knowing people meeting on this site but bragging about it to me it's disgusting and plain selfish. |

But the people they pass it to could be medically vulnerable, or have medically vulnerable family members.
It takes up to 14 days for symptoms to show after becoming infected, you could pass it on before you even know you have it.
The above, and the fact that many people are asymptomatic, are the reasons people are being asked to keep their contacts to a minimum. |

Oh they have...you must have missed it. You must also have missed the fact that many who carry the virus can be asymptomatic. Or that it's not just going to sit there dormant til you get home to pass it to someone elderly 
There's no excuse this far down the line for this kind of lack of understanding of how this works. None other than unwillingness to understand anyway
