Hey all.
Anybody else struggle with turning 41. Getting older has never bothered me. But this time has. Really badly. Over the hill I'm not. But my 15 year old beat me in a race, and im struggling with that side of getting old. Plus theres a whole load of shit i thought i would have done by now. Or is it just a case of get your finger out and get fucking to it |

It's so long ago I can't remember but the one thing I've learned in recent years is that there's no point in dwelling on what you haven't done.
It used to be said that life begins at 40 but in reality it can begin at any age.

I struggled turning 40 thought I was over the hill. But I changed my attitude and am now feeling confident and in the best shape of my life. There's still plenty of miles left on us vintage models |

No it never bothered me at all. It's not a big deal as far as I've been concerned. Age is literally just a number. Ye there's things I can't do like I could when I was younger. Mind you I was never any good at running if someone sees me running they better run too as there is definitely something not pleasant chasing me |

Look in the end of the day age is simply a number live your life at whatever pace you want if you keep thinking about your age the more it maybe daunting on you I don't know maybe in your free time try out things you have been wanted to do
My eldest is 10 and he can beat me in a race shockingly I used to be quite fast lol but it doesn't get to me it's something to be proud of him for doing more activities with your kids certainly keeps you on your toes |

It's never too late to achieve anything, Ohpee
Time spent wishing is time wasted. Dreams, whether you think they're too big or too small, all start with the same first step! Setting your mind to it.
So don't let the thought of them overwhelm you, small steps lead to big changes.
Nobody knows what tomorrow will bring sure so living in the here and now is all we can do! Embrace it, don't waste it |

Turning 40 never phased me in the slightest I'll be 43 at Christmas and I'm still not bothered. My life long friend however was devastated at Turning 40. She litterly went into hiding a week before and after turning 40. |

I (mrs) hated turning 40. Felt that was it, all down hill from there, best years gone etc. But you have to embrace what you have, be greatful for every chance at a new experience and be open to exploring more. Then age really does not matter.

I'm 64 and a cross dresser all my life. Yes for some it can be tough. Not for me. Yes you slow down. But it is how you treat it. I love life. I will pass no apology for who or what I am. So enjoy life and live long. |

It's all in the mind op. Be grateful you've survived 41 years on this planet and vow to make the next 41+ even better. I'm 48 and the fittest, happiest and most body confident I've ever been. Get training and vow to beat your 15-year old the next time. Let that be your first goal and go from there. Mrs |

Only a number girl. Ffs 40 is when fun starts. From my experience I hit 40 and said that’s it I’m going to fulfill my needs. Experience is the key and you know what you like and what turns you on and what fulfills your climax. Christ In my 20,s and 30,s I was locked and couldn’t even remember getting the ride????????. Now I pace myself hydrate and enjoy every minute. And I’ve been told 50,s even better |

Turned 41 in the summer and with lockdown and weight gain that came
With it have to say I did start to feel the same , after a few weeks break off work I started to change my eating habits for the better and upped the amount of cardio training and with a half decent weight loss I’m feeling much better about myself ... even started putting on smart clothes again after slouching around in tracks or shorts most of time as am working at home |

I’m 52 and have to say the last 5 or 6 years have been the best of my life. I feel like a teenager. I can do most things and play a lot of sports only difference I notice is takes a bit longer to recover and my eyesight closeup has gone to shit so can’t even read my phone without reading glasses which is a pain. Otherwise it’s been great and I’m looking forward to turning 53. |

Yep, the bloody reading glasses are the only drawback |
