I only just got an irate message from a local woman, who I'd never contacted before, to demand, "What I was thinking when I chose my username?" As I'm now aware, it's a series of books for children!!!
I replied that I had no idea and mused that I might change it (not that this alone is the reason nobody answers my messages) However, prior to blocking me she said it was,
"Sick and creepy. "
Now I can't get the connection to the books out of my mind.
I found out that I can change it, so suggestions on a postcard???

To be fair, Ohpee, such a thing (their message/response and attitude) transcend your username.
What I mean is, for me, that shows they're someone who you wouldn't be best suited to anyway!

Op don't listen to what that person said its just further proof that there is nasty people in the world I was told once that I shouldn't be on here because I have been seen out with my kids I just laughed it off and blocked the gobshite lol
If you like your username keep it it's far from offensive and yes I've seen much much worse  |

I'm sure there were many Horrid Henry's in the world prior to it being a childrens book. And to be honest I wouldn't have made the connection had it not been pojnted out. I think there may have been a little of an over reaction in this intance. You can in time change the name if you feel it is tainted for you now. |
