The pubs are back open...so who is gonna actually go for a pint today or tonight? (Dublin folk can sit this one out!).

I wont be going for one tonight.

I'm not usually a big pub goer but I have arranged to meet a few friends at a favourite local tonight just to support a family struggling to keep their business.

Our local isn't opening until later in the week, I'm going to save my annual visit for a few weeks

Tipperary

I'd be a regular goer outer on weekends when I can. Working today and tomorrow. Wont stir this evening but I'd imagine I will the weekend. Great to see life moving forward as unfortunately we have to live with covid and not hide under a bed from it. Delighted for businesses and their livelihoods.

Waterford City

I was never a big pub goer before covid so I won't be rushing to go. But I hope it goes well for the businesses and people can follow the guidelines.

Eh, as a Louth girl I'd like to please retract this invitation to Dublin people and suggest instead that they do what they're told and stay put

They are not to leave Dublin, they are in phase 3 lockdown, from the report in the Irish Times, Louth isn't to far behind in joining them.

I was out for a couple of jolly pints myself last night. It was busy too... only just managed to get a table and of course once ppl have a table they are not inclined you give it up easily. It's good to have the pubs open again i just hope it doesn't make the numbers spiral out of control and we'll all be in lockdown again.

Nope. Can't imagine being back in a pub until fetish munches start again to be honest. Already see some "swinkster" trying to organise a bdsm event on another site for late next month and thinking that's not going to happen
