Tom Hardy as been cast as James Bond. My kids just looked at me as if i grew two new heads with my freak out in the kitchen. Anyway thoughts.

I'll suspend judgement. I started off my thinking Daniel Craig would be just a 'blonde' Bond and how wrong was I. I know Tom Hardy is popular and looks the part but Bond is more than just a sexual fantasy.......they have all looked good but they were not all good in the role.

To be fair i did put in a disclaimer halfway down once the rampaging hormones settled down and i read the articles lol. They just said allegedly so well see what happens. Think i might watch the dark knight rises tonight |

Absolutely class actor. No doubt, but he's not suited for bond k think.
Bond looks smart and Hardy has too much of a tough guy look. It just doesn't fit I don't think.
I'll be interested to see what they do anyways  |

They won't be near making an announcement for at least another year
They have to get the launch and publicity tour out of the way first for this Bond Film,have the usual beauty contest...will he be black,white,will he be a she for a few months before they announce the name of the next film and the actor
I'd like to see Idris Elba in the role personally.

Bond movies are not Bond movies anymore at least not like the Bond movies of old. Either way no matter who plays 007 this time round I'm sure there was plenty of thought put into who would be suitable for the role. Hardy is a good actor and I'm sure he will slot himself nicely into 007s panties just as the Daniel Craig did, but ppl slated him too when the news broke that he would be the next Bond.

Hasn't been made yet. Just announced the lead actor a few weeks ago but it's being made by the producers of Jack Ryan. |

I'm not sure how many of you have read Fleming's books, but Connery and Brosnan are closest to what Bond should look like. Fleming actually said he modelled Bond on the singer Hogey Carmichael. He's definitely dark and I think it was high time we had a Afro-Caribbean Bond, possible Elba, but I'd recommend Pattison Joseph because he was brilliant in Peep Show!

Cannot stand him as a personality comes across like a small D man. No.
They should create a new story line with a young bond , james bonds son..he must have many. If you watch the old bomd films they are what the mee too movement is about..bond does not know what No means from a Woman. Its shocking to watch old re runs. |
