I've been thinking about this a lot. Why Tipp people so strange. Prime example is Mattie McGrath in the Dail. I think its something to do with their inferiority complex with Kilkenny people. |

I wouldn't use Mattie McGrath as an example - he's an expert in using the publicity machine. It keeps him in the public eye.
We would stand up to any Kilkenny person any day! |

im not sure we should be using this forum to bad mouth tipperary people without affording them the oppurtunity to reply.....any one know when the bould Mattie and P&T are getting them t'internet...or even electricity |

Tipp Tipp Tipp Tipp... what I hear in my nightmares!
Lovely people individually and unfortunately produce classy hurlers good enough to win an All Ireland every decade (and good at one in a rows) but can they be forgiven for Mattie McGrath AND Alan Kelly AND Michael Lowry?!?!? |

I have a completely different experience with Tipp people. All lovely so far and swingers too...
I am wondering though how even 3 people form Tipp could be an example versus all the others... Wouldn't be like associating all the Irish to Conor McGregor?  |

Mattie & M.Lowry are the only two that really put up the battle for their " natives "...have no time at all for that arrogant prick Kelly...and there are some real good salt of the earth people in Tipp,like all counties .and of course like all counties as well ,there are assholes in it too .but the beauty of that is you get to decide who they are too . |

I think I know the dozen or so people you’re talking about, sound out!
Don’t be too sensitive, Cork gets this kind of thing all the time. It’s more mainstream for Cork, but we’re used to it. Odd one for someone to pick on Tipp out of the blue alright.
Can’t defend how Lowry and McGrath are put back in the Dáil continuously however. The barefaced corruption and church influenced state views they represent respectively should be consigned to our dark history.
