I love it, I do three mornings of cardio and then 1 or two weight sessions per week.
Also love to hike and play tennis also.
I’d love a gym female friend |

I both love and hate training.. body weight stuff, public pull up bars and the trusty kettlebell have been the covid belly checker
Recently started playing 5aside again too...
Running fast then slow for an hour is foooking difficult |

Have loved sports and training all my life ,they've been a huge part of it ...still love doing an ol' regular workout but only what's suitable for my needs ,as in what's comfortable and beneficial to what l want ,l'm not competing in sports anymore so my routine basically involves Skipping,Leg stances while doing the art of 30 punches with two 5kg dumbbells ,arm dips...and leg lifts for stomach..and stretching. .approx 35/40 mins which is loads for me . |

"Who likes to train and keep fit "
This is something i really got into just as lockdown was approaching..
3 days a week weights sessions for chest, shoulders/back and legs
3 days a week of cardio, 20km on bike, kettlebell, sit ups and planking
I always @ people who worked out alot but deffo gives you more energy and gets addictive |

Defo,
The fitness game is very strange, doing weights approx 20 years you always get the blow in friends who stick at it for a few weeks and then leave lol, for me I love it,
The feeling you get after a workout is second to none, and the best and easiest thing to say is “I enjoy working out”
If you arrive to the gym and hate it.... you’ll never stick it |

"Another couple here who like to keep fit. Cardio based sessions and weights. Try to balance it out with good food and having a blowout when you need it. Balance is keep to it all."
Exactly the way to have it |

"Tbh I'd love to get back into this just so many years of not giving a hoot about myself is hard getting back to myself
Never to late to go back "
Very true but the thing with me is when I start I sort of get bored of it mainly because I'm doing on my own I suppose if I had someone doing it with me I'd stick to it |

"Get a programme dude. Best way. You have a plan to
Work off then instead going in with guess work"
Agree with this. Worth getting some ZpT sessions as well to show you correct form etc. You would expect to jump in a pool and be able to swim properly. Learning the correct set up and movements prevents injury and improves progress in my view. Above all else start as that is better than everything!! |

"In gym nearly every day. Love it. Might be over doing it to be quite honest!!!
Love lifting weights. Can leg press 90kilos. Love being a strong woman.
MsD"
Be careful not to overtrain and build in rest days as the muscles need to repair |

215 lbs, that’s like the weight of a fully grown man and a big one at that, has to be some kind of record, did you get an award ?
Fair play ! Well done ! |

"Only realised after lockdown how important gym is to mental welfare"
This! I used to have to force myself to go 3 times a week, post lockdown I’m regularly going 6 times a week (mix of hitt cardio and weights) and if there a reason I can’t go I get annoyed at the reason and I miss it. I’ve a good bunch of guys training with me I miss the slagging and banter when not there. |

Try and find a gym that is class based and do the same classes every week, you’ll soon get in with others and become part of the crew, that way you’ll always have someone to train with. |
