Saw this online earlier.. If you know why a pizza is made round.. To be put in a square box and eaten in triangles, you my friend understand women.  .. Are we men as complex? |

Another pizza related snippet.
If you let a pizza's height = a, and radius = z, then it's volume = pizza.

I fold mine over down the middle. Saw them do it on The Sopranos years ago. It's good |

The first one made in Germany, called Flamenkusch, was rectangle.
Italians bakers then kept it rectangle to cook in the bread oven.
Restaurants made it to fit in plate and then put them in square boxes for take aways.
But who gives a monkey. It's like the topics. Eat it as you like.

The box is square because they are cheaper and sturdier than circular boxes to manufacture.
The pizza is circular to introduce air into the dough and to stretch it out evenly with a crust left to prevent the toppings from spilling out.
We eat pizza in triangles as we cut through the middle to make 'equal' (they are never equal) sized slices.
After spoiling all that - I still don't understand women |

Used to serve something like that in a place called Ciao Italy here in Cork years ago... Hangover pizza... Bacon sausage and a runny fried egg in the middle.. handsome Samson... |
