Would anyone have an interest in being a practice partner for shibari? I've done a few training sessions, but outside of the big cities its seems pretty impossible to find someone to train with  .
I'm imagining this to be pretty platonic, clothes on rope patterns, feel free to shoot a message over if you have always wanted to be tied up  |

Being a very ancient and traditional Japanese practice, with more deep roots and motivations than modern bondage, it is therefore more than understandable how rare it is to find admirers in Europe outside the big capitals.
If interested you should seek for a performer or site/group, London best choiche, and then then try find someone near you. |

I knew some people who practiced it in Milan, even hanging by hooks and brackets in the skin/flesh to take artistic photos and feel the shocks of Endorfine that the body transmits.
Very good and beautiful photos.
But I get bored if I have to untie something more than the shoes, so deffo not for me. |

I have, but you run into the same issues with distance . I go to events in dublin and training in belfast... but travel isn't a great option at the moment  |

I would agree with the comments above, you will be better looking on certain other websites and looking for a rope bunny.
I know there was a rope group in Belfast that advertised on another site, but am not sure how active they are. There are rope aficionados out there in Dublin, but they aren’t as openly active as you find in other countries.
Good luck with your search though...Shibari is such a pleasure to be learn and to practice |
