So... (ladies in particular) I’d love an opinion on this...
I send a message.. what I think is generally un-invasive and general chat.. no cheesy one liner literally have the screenshot and happy to share it privately with names blocked & all that.
I attached a nice face pic... (hopefully my face isn’t so offensive)... and asked where in the stated county that said lady was.
I got a replied to with asking do I “think women are stupid” for giving out a location(I assumed I’d asked a generalised question) and being called an “asshole”.
I legit don’t think I’ve done anything wrong here?? Or have I?   |

Some people on here are needlessly aggressive and just toxic and shouldn’t be anywhere near any sort of social interaction site . She just showed you why you wouldn’t want to meet her . Bad days don’t call for bad manners ! |

As already said there are lots of people on here that you would never want to be associated with off site.
Some are rude and nasty by nature while others are rude and nasty out of some false sense of superiority. There are even those who are known to be rude and nasty because they get a kick out of it.
It wouldn't matter what you asked if they thought you were a soft target for their ignorance. |

Carlovian is a term I haven’t heard before!! I enjoyed my time up there. Few dodgy landlords... but all good otherwise. |

Yeah op this is a case of simply forgetting her some here it's literally like walking on egg shells no obviously she isn't obliged to tell you anything but she could have handled that a bit better sometimes saying nothing is nicer than being mean |

To be fair OP, it's a legitimate question to ask in Cork, not exact location but someone in Beara is unlikely to be meeting someone in Youghal often.
In any case, she was obviously looking for an excuse to vent some bile. |

To be honest on a first message it probably was a bit too much especially if the woman in question has had problems in the past.
If her profile said she was from a certain county is that not enough to be starting with anyway |

Mate, she was having a bad day, he was a sitting duck and now he’s dissecting the situation.
I’d say if he even said hello to her, he would have gotten a cranky reaction.
The point is that he doesn’t stand a chance of meeting up with her, so why even bother talking about it.......

I kinda get where ur coming from I'm passing not aggressive I answered a question to some one on fab before after the reply I cracked a joke nothin offensive it was more humour n got blocked straight away I'm chatty n very approachable but some times people have been burnt so I just respect there privacy n move on |
