Hotel for Couple

Hi folks, looking for any recommendations for a nice hotel for adults only. Not a swinger as other half is probably not interested but would like a hotel with no kids running around the place. Would like somewhere where we could do a good trek of a hill or whatever, with spa/ pool facilities.

Thanks for reply. Was actually there last year. Super place to go. Very private and hot tub was super. Spent two nights there getting takeaways, didn’t want to leave the tub.

Mid to expensive range. No point cheaping it, I’ve made that mistake in past.

Some suggestions, thank you. Fota might be a runner. I think autumn winter will be busy for weekends away. Both into a good 3-4 Hour hike.

Haven’t been to Powerscourt, might look into that. Once it has a large sauna I’m happy.

You might get an upgrade some of the rooms have saunas in them

Monart Spa in Wexford. Great example of “you get what you pay for!”

Probably Christmas 2025 it is an amazing place! Liam Griffin knows what customer service and quality is all about!

Other end of the country you could try Rosleague manor hotel It’s not adult only; I suspect there won’t be too many families there. You could always phone and ask if any are booked in!

Farnham estate near Cavan town is a very nice place, well worth a visit. Children are not allowed in the pool or the wet area, so very few there

Looks great, will probably book for November. I’d imagine saunas and the likes will still be closed then.

Just looked it up, looks great. As long as no kids and hopefully a sauna open. Thank you.
