should the HSE be pro active & just start free testing everyone & as soon as there is a vacine,, give it free to everyone...the small cost for free testing out weighs the economic cost of shutting a business or the effect lockdown has on peoples lives |

Welcome to the world of moral economics. Rich people are not in favour of it because they know that it will raise the standard of living. They will tell middle class people it will cost them more because their tax money is being wasted. The poor people will have to carry the burden as it will cost them more not to.
Some drugs may already work, but if there is no profit to be made, why would the drug dealers make any of it for their investors, who are predominately rich white men.
The lobbyists, that these corporations employ, draught long pieces of legislation in an effort to prevent government intervention in their market of poor people.
It would be great for humanity to work together, but that helps everybody and people don't like everyone else being as 'happy' as them.
In conclusion, go forth and enjoy the creature comforts of fab before the rich people send in the robots that will eventually kill them as well! |
