"Carrickfinn without a doubt and nearby Ballymanus which is also stunning but with a sad history. Bunbeg is also amazing.
What's the sad history of ballymanus "
The Ballymanus mine disaster occurred on 10 May 1943 on a beach at Ballymanus, County Donegal, Ireland when local villagers attempted to bring ashore an unexploded marine mine. Eighteen men and boys between the ages of 13 and 34 were killed in the explosion. |

Tramore beach outside Dunfanaghy (I think it’s called that) , good half hour walk from the forest to get to it though, plenty of privacy when you get there though |

"Murvagh..when it's quiet.."
Was there during the bank holiday. Must have been 100 cars in the car park. Never seen it so busy! Gorgeous beach though. Has it all. |

I'm embarrassed to admit I haven't seen enough of the North or South
I've been to plenty of beaches but all evolve a plane
I only went to see Marble Arch Caves two years ago which were beautiful

Ya once you go down the beach a little it's safe. The only dangerous place is near the cliffs and only when the waves are bigger. Once the waves are small it's safe. |
