I’m just wondering, has anyone experienced when you have met someone through fab and they turned up in your “ real life “? I mean when you’re doing your daily run of the mill real stuff, shopping, going to the doctors etc ,and you bump into somebody from this place. Just curious to know. How did you react? How did they react? Did you give eachother a knowing glance or avoid eye contact at all cost?!!! |

I have a minimum of 45/50 mile's from where l live rule so the chances of me ever meeting them or them me in real life public is greatly reduced. |

Has happened afew times out shopping, going to the gym too. Doesn't bother me seeing people from fab in regular situations. I'm an adult not doing anything wrong id say hello or they would chat away like you would with anyone. I try not to met ppl living within 5km of me as a rule of thumb. |

It happens. Particularly if you go the parties and m&g's because you meet so many people. I would always try and ignore them if out though as you never know if they are with someone and might cause embarrassment or awkward questions. We have nothing to hide from anyone really so wouldn't have these worries ourselves, but best to be discreet with others. |

Yes it's happened us a numerous amount of times with local people/work colleagues/friends. We're all consenting adults so we go up say hello and tell them we are all here for the same reason and that everyone needs to be discreet. It has resulted in some great experiences..lol

A nod and a smile should do. Ignoring people is just rude. Fab is a friendly place for the most part but you have to respect people's privacy.
If they wanted a chat I'm sure people would have the common sense to send a private message on here.
Respecting others privacy in a public setting earns brownie points.
Everyone like a person who can keep a secret nobody likes a loud mouth. Hope this answers your question OP |

I would worry that they are with their husband/wife/friend from work/church or something and would get awkward questions... so just walk on by. Unless they are clearly on their own or its a couple and it's clearly just the two of them together. |

I met a woman at a social once that I’d meet regularly through work. Neither of us have mentioned it since. We never had an connection before so I don’t see why that would change just because we’re both on fab. |

Bumped into a couple of women I recognised of dating sites. Didn't say anything to them. Think it's a bit creepy. If they werent interested online why would they be offline. |

"I've sent my face pic to loads of different people, in my area and further. I always get the feeling people recognize me from pic.
Also I don't get not meeting locals thing. it's a bit odd"
Some people have jobs that mean they might hold confidential/sensitive material so can't risk anyone having anything over them. These people might be target's of foreign governments or other bad actors. Others might be teachers or other jobs where there is an expectation of behaving a particular way. Maybe they are involved in local politics or are prominent community or business people. Maybe they just want to keep this private. Loads of reasons. |

I don't meet people who live close to me because I don't want to be hassled by people who think because you live local and are on fab therfore you are at their beck and call any hour of the day and night. The few people I chatted to when I first joined even tho we never met this was exactly their attitude. One even used who's near to try and find my house late at night and thought I should just go meet him as it told him he was within a quarter mile. After that I decided not to meet anyone within 10 miles of where I live.
If I do see someone who is on fab when out it has only happened once I don't chat to them. I will send them a message if it's someone I actually know if its someone I haven't met before I'd just ignore the fact I saw them. There ia nothing more creepy than getting messages off some person claiming they saw you while you were out shopping etc. |

Exactly this. I once mentioned in the forum i go jogging and got loads of local guys messaging asking where i went as they wanted to wank in the bushes when i ran by. Also do not want anyone who maybe knows my family members either or workmates. Much safer i feel to travel for meets. |

Your a lovely sensible girl. Am sure you would turn heads on a warm sunny Saturday afternoon in Bunchannon Street. Had great times over there. |

Apart from one occasion I've never bumped into fellow fabbers at least I don't think so if ye spotted me a friendly hello would be great..... Lol just kidding well I'm not an ignorant person so I'd probably just give a friendly smile or a hello if I did spot anyone from here but I wouldn't use this as some kind of way to hold against them how they live their life is not for me to judge |

We went to a MnG, relatively local, met our daughters friends parents, who live on our estate, we chatted and laughed for a while, see each other in passing every other day, say Hi and go about our business. |

Happened me on a train and in Tesco. I discretely acknowledged both ladies with a warm smile but would never engage further without being approached. No need to out people who like to keep sex lives private. |

Don't meet anyone local to me. Anyone I've chatted to local I'd never say anything to them if met them out. At end if day we are all adults I don't care what other people do in their personal lives, and vice versa.
I had one guy who would text saying he'd seen me in supervalu a few times, was politely told to f off and stop been a creep and blocked. |

Bizarrely I got a similar message from a guy saying he has seen me out and about and that I shouldn't be on here simply because he apparently saw me with my kids he got reported and blocked and the main reason I don't allow guys to message me anymore as I thought I was doing a good thing especially during this time the abuse is unreal but I promise anyone comes up to me in public while I'm out with them shouting abuse the result wouldn't end well for them |

I’ve crossed paths with a few women I’ve exchanged messages and face pics with while in work as I’m out in the public the whole time. There was always smile and nod or quick hello |
