As happyni said, food and drinks- its a good start hanging about cathredal quarter, muriels and the spaniard are good. Foodwise... You'll be spoilt for choice.

Made in belfast is a great place to eat

NEWTOWNABBEY

Would hate to burst your bubble but jessy was in town on Saturday. All indoor area bars are closed. Places like the dirty onion with its large outdoor area has a queue to get in. My suggestion would be to try and meet other fabbers for a meal, restaurants are open, then take it from there. Good luck.

Just been told pubs will be open 10 August. Happy days for you. The Spaniard, the national, harp bar, pizza punks for great cocktails, too much to list. X

We are booked in a hotel so always have hotel bar to relax with a few drinks if other places too busy

Always makes me chuckle that the only people who recommend cathedral 1/4 are people not from Belfast Outsiders love it, locals don't go near it unless they're dragged in a group to it.

Pubs are supposed to open from 10th but I expect social distancing to be strict, especially in popular areas like cathedral 1/4.

You might be best spending hour 1 day next week calling a few places and asking what they're own procedures are, because some places need a booking, some only serve drink with food....and there are some pubs that have been open ignoring the food and booking rules

"We are booked in a hotel so always have hotel bar to relax with a few drinks if other places too busy"

Our experience at the weekend, you need to be having food in the hotel bar if you wanted to drink, and that needed booked before arriving to get a spot or sit outside under an umbrella and hope the significantly reduced waiting staff remember you are there
