Scamming a friend

Reaching out for some advice here.
Someone on this site has created a fake profile and has put the phone number of a friend of mine in the bio and as status. She's in bits over it. Getting non stop phone calls and texts.
What can be done to take the profile down? I see it has a meet verification but that has obviously been faked as well.
Didn't know if I should post username here but can do if it helps.
Appreciate any advice. |

Feel awful for your friend, thats downright nasty. Fair play getting it out there and reporting it. She should keep a hold of the texts and call numbers too if she chooses to take it to the authorities. |

Report to admin then get your friend to change her number it's a pain in the arse to do but it will stop the random phone calls and texts |

This is why i have no public photos on my profile dont use kik and mever give out my phone number too many assholes about hope your friend is ok i have had my pics used against me on other sites so i know how she feels |

that is why I won't send face pics to anyone until I get to know them first you'd never know what a person could do with your pic

obviously it was a guy she had already met and things went sour for some reason between them that he has put up her number on the fake profile..she may very well know exactly who they are if she can recollect giving her number to someone she met on here that he was pushy etc to her that things went sour because she wouldn't meet again maybe etc .. Something is bound to jog her memory. |

Just to be clear my friend is not on this site but she knew I was so reached out about this.
So really it could have been anyone who has her phone number.
Seems to be sorted now anyway. She can block the numbers and hopefully that ends it in a day or two.
Again thanks for the help. Its terrible that we need to do this at all but there's always going to be some nasty people out there. |

pretty sure you could go to the guards over that 1..you will need to take a screen grab of said profile with phone number attached then report it  |

Report and there should be a setting on her phone where she can block unknown callers |

For future reference, the person who's number it is can contact Admin through the contact button even if they are not members
