83 cases today with 1 death
Where will this leave us? Do you think they will Regional lockdowns instead?
It will be an absolute bummer if so cause I finally have my first meet organised and was really and truly looking forward to it!
( For anyone given out that we still should be meeting.. its a coffee meet for the moment) |

It was actually 85 cases. I've heard they're planning to lockdown Dublin and Cork from tomorrow night. There's going to be an announcement tomorrow night at 7 pm |

Where'd you hear that?(from your friends neighbours sister inlaw who has a dog that goes to the same groomers as Karen's secretary in the eye lash clinic in town) or Facebook?
Sure go ahead and lock down Dublin and Cork, because of a spike in cases at a meat processing plant in Kildare. |

This made me laugh alot haha thank you! .. Kildare is now higher then Cork.. The 6% was recorded from the start and hasn't changed. Cork is doing excellent at the moment no cases in the CUH or Mercy for the past couple of days now with icu & others empty |

Don't know if it's true or not but if it is, is this our future now?
1. Ease restrictions.
2. Cases inevitably rise.
3. Bring back restrictions.
4. Repeat.
Is this how it's going to be? |

Surly it's a case of when and not if. Maybe not to the same extend as lockdown 1.0 but a local lockdown or by county or industry.
I've heard rumblings from people in the know that they're preparing for the worst come Sept/Oct.
Apparently the cold dry air allows the virus to hang around for a lot longer and with no uv light to help kill it and vitamin d levels dropping across the population it's a triple whammy
