Do you think you look better in your pix or real life?
Body pix wise I try to pick more flattering angles and hide the lumps and bumps which in real life I can’t obviously do so I’d say my pix look better. Face wise I invariably look like a particularly nasty gargoyle in pix so I hope in real life I’m not quite so terrifying! |

Definitely better in body pics as I can hide my wobbly bits.
Face pics not so much I think I am very unphotogenic I freeze like a rabbit in headlights once someone points a camera in my direction. |

Also I appear 4 dimensional, have a head and face in real life too. |

Bodywise, pics definitely look better. Facewise, I hope I look better IRL.
I can only take consolation in the fact that nobody (so far!) has run away screaming when I introduced myself (or took off my clothes!) |

I think my face looks better in real life (so I've been told). Body - I don't know, I won't deny that I sometimes make sure to get the best angle for pics, but I'm happy enough with how it looks in real life anyway, lol. |

We like to take pics when we are in the mood. Need to be relaxed & that helps. Also take several pictures of the one pose & we might get one good one.. placing clothes strategically also helps. It's all a bit of fun really. Some come out nice & a lot we just delete. We never try to create an image that is way off what is real. x |

In fairness nobody takes 10 pics and says "this is the worst one, I think I'll post that"

In total agreement with this. Here for body pics but I can't get a good face pic ever. I blink, talk, turn, etc always at the wrong moment. |

Mrs OP is both stunning in her pics and perhaps even more so in real life.
I haven’t unfortunately mastered the art of a face pic selfie without a quasi modo grin so I’m hoping I look better in the flesh. |

Photography is an instant imprinted in time, and partially represents a person.
It can be an improvement or a deterioration. Which is why they are usually made in dozens to choose very few. It is in all respects an art, therefore it modifies reality and is an interpretation of it and relies on the sugestione of the beholder.
In person, high factors come into play, such as how we speak, move, the self-confidence, etc, which make the body shape and face looking quite minor.
About me, knowing that I am far for being like a Greek God or Norse Giant, I think I am better in person, but surely my photos, like those of many others, they could make people think differently.
The important thing is to feel good about yourself, acceptance is ok, but don't stop trying to improve. |

Absolutely, which is why we have no interest in looking for face pics. |
