"Did anyone else notice that the quality of pics uploaded been rubbish lately?? All blurred?? Or I just need a new eye test??! Hmmm. "
Your new profile pictures are not blurred but maybe too much contrast with the colours or wrong settings in the phone
The colours look amazing but too much happening in each one
When you click on the picture its pin sharp in HD |

It seems that some pics resolution is reduced upon upload, probably to save server space. But then you zoom and they're perfect. Other pics look great zoomed in or out, it's strange. Speaking in general of course, not about your pics op |

Images are compressed when uploaded. A picture taken/edited could be 7 or 8 Mb on your phone. The site/store has to manage thousands of video and image uploads per minute aswell as sending/receiving of content. Other well known message apps do same compression for same performance reasons. |

Try enabling 'Show HD Photos' option in your account.
Click on any profiles public photo gallery and you will see the 'Turn HD photos on' option or use the link below.

If you don't see the option.....the option is already turned on. To turn it off(on) you go to 'Account' then tap 'NEW Turn HD Photos On' button. The button is in middle row at very bottom. This is mobile site....I'm not sure about desktop/website version. |

It would be good to know what resolution they are resized to, in order to maintain quality as much as possible.
One other issue that can happen is to do with colour space. If you use Photoshop and save a jpg without converting to srgb you can get off-looking colours |

OP pics look fine and I have seen some videos from folks that look like they were filmed in 4K, as the quality is so good.
Also seen some pics Nokia 3310 but I said that to the naughty dreamy lady and she got better pics |
