"U have a dog whose very aggressive towords other dogs, treated very well at home, not aggressive with adults etc. How do u stop it? Asking for a friend if anybody knows. "
A very well supervised doggy day care . Just a short visit to start, and get them used to other dogs slowly. |

Its a possibility its being over protective of the walker. One of ours was like that every time i brought him for a walk. Every dog is different and needs to be trained accordingly. Have a look on the whole dog journal for tips as regards approaching aggressive behaviour and would be worth looking at having the dog socialised also. |

"Is it true dogs are mad aggressive or are some dogs just that way?"
Some dogs are more aggressive than others but again its down to training and teaching them correctly. Bear in mind also that non neutered can be more aggressive. |

No, don't accept that they're just that way, that's just all wrong, a dog can be trained and a misbehaviour can be adressed with the right approach of being firm, reassurance and rewards. It's bit to complex to describe it in a few sentences but there's plenty of help out there online, on telly (i was serious about the programme i mentioned above, it gives you an idea) or from dog trainers. |

We got a dog trainer once and it was money well spent. They train the owner (not the dog) to treat the dog in a certain way, thus training them. Worked really well for our dogs - it was a sibling rivalry thing all along |

Many are just like that because they are around the owners. Feel over protected.
Many dogs who are just from a one dog house hold dunno how to be social around other dogs.
I would recommend doggy day care in a place where people know what they are dealing with and slowly can introduce the dog to others with out owners been present at the start.
Also if it's a male and still young I'd recommend getting him castrated.
If you want to message me to know more feel free to.
I did study animal behaviour in college. |

A Bullet.
Kidding
Definitely a dog behaviour therapist, but its not an over night fix.
Time, work and patience, trust me it does work in most cases and as I said above it needs work and love ??
