I went on an "actual"date recently..its the first one(Non fab related) I had been on in years properly..I thought she had no interest as I got no indication she liked me so being the

fucking gentleman I am I didnt make a move.. she text me after giving out to me(banter), why didnt I kiss her etc...she said she gave loads of signals and signs.. I honestly didn't pick up on any...so what in gods name are some examples of these signs.. I also have that problem when I used go on fab meets, too awkward make the move..

Smiling at you.

Making prolonged eye contact with you.

Running fingers through her hair.

Licking her lips.

Exposing her neck.

Tilting her heads towards you.

I struggle with these sorts of things too. I never know if someone is just being nice or actually flirting.

All the above... Plus...

Touching your arm or leg, facing towards you, mimicking your body language. Taking her tits out

This kinda stuff plus

'Accidentally' or consciously touching you (not in the groin region just ie arm or hand)

Giving you a bit deeper glimpse of the cleavage

The actions people do and what people perceive to be done, can be different entirely. Don't fret.

At least she texted you telling you how blind you are..

I'd actually take this as a good sign. You had a nice date. She was into you enough to want a kiss. She's eager to see you again. You didn't come across as pushy or just wanting sex. You are a good date

And now you can get a lot more flirty from now till you hopefully meet again. Chances the clothes would be torn off you then.

The golden rules......the unexplained rules of dating. I think we have all been there, some more than others (ME)

Finding the middle ground between being a gentleman & being a little forward can be hard to guage sometimes

I know he's gone now and I didn't have any interactions with him but he always came across as a decent fella and many have spoken very highly of him so good luck to him and his new adventure.

But I'd like to continue the theme of the thread if that's OK?

So, the signs?

Why is it you can tell a friend that a girl is mad about him because she's showing all the signs, but when it comes to ourselves we either miss it or can't convince ourselves that she's giving them to us?

Good idea. I haven't a clue if a guy is interested, even on coffee meets, not a notion. Had one coffee where we chatted for ages had a laugh, when I asked did he want to meet again, he said he didn't think there was a spark. So that has thrown me off any signs since.

Yeah you have a point there actually. I only watched it once when a girl I know was on it and I was convinced she and the lad had hit it off.

Turns out NO
