Who introduced you to fab?

After coming through a bad break up and doing the usual tinder and pof but wasn’t getting what I wanted from it. I got talking to a girl in a bar about it all and she recommended fab to me and that was that really. I was off and running so to speak  |

Google was our friend. We'd used other websites to meet people before Fab but the pool had gone a bit stagnant so we thought we'd see what else was out there |

A male friend said to me one night - I've an idea, I said what? He said we should join a swinging site together. I said catch yourself on, I barely ride ye how could we ride people together lol anyways the seed was planted and a few weeks later I was having a nosey online and joined up. Tryna be all vague and not give anything away. He msged me 2 days later saying awh you joined didnt ya, I knew that was you and that was that. 2 years later im here and loving the fab life lol. Started as a single, now a couple (but still have my single profile as well). Ive made some great friends, long may it continue! |

My mother (Without her realising) introduced me to Fab! (True story) 
Was visiting her in the UK and one night she said “wait until you see what that dirty bastard brother of yours is up to!”
I followed her to his room (his PC was on) and the screen popped up, “there you go, the filthy pig!!”. He hadn’t closed the site down and there was his profile on here!
I just started tutting, shaking my head (and took notes) |

I was already on another swing site when fab started so wandered over here to see what was going on.
The other site started to loose people to fab and here became more my regular haunt than the other.
I was introduced to the other site by a friend of a friend that organised my first mfm.. that was a memorable day..   |

Doesn't only apply to fab. My ex stalked me for over a year. Then found out I was on fab and flipped his lid imagining I was fucking cats and dogs on here.
Goes to show that people judge others by what they truly are themselves deep inside.
One positive thing is that thankfully I'm not the freak here and all I have to deal with now is an odd d*unken rude text. Glad my life is not as sad as his and people I've met on fab are some of the best, free, open minded, kindest, most understanding and non judgemental I have ever met. Something that I couldn't say about the sad stalky ex.

I am dealing with this at the moment with my narcissistic ex husband who for three years synced my passwords to his iMac. It a came out last week when he advised me to change the passwords on the dubious lifestyle sites I am on. I too am glad my life isn't as sad as his since I was recommended Fab by a Fetlife friend when yet another Tinder date didn't turn up. All the gems I have met here makes it worth it. |

Tinder seems to be the gift that keeps on giving. It's much less cleaky and tribal. Have met some crackers here though. Attraction physically is important. But that's not the be all and end all. Some egos shine though unfortunately. |

Back about 12 years ago when camping at festivals for staff first started all the riding(not by me)was incredible.
The problem was the jealousy
First night a few beers and people would hook up
Second day the people that hooked up got handier shifts by the supervisor they'd shagged
Second night when some people tried to move to another partner the first night's partner went mad and by the end of day 3 half the staff weren't talking which made work very awkward
Then as I was the nice old man I had to listen to all their problems
So never sleep with someone you work with |

I had known about fab for ages before I eventually got round to joining.
I had met a recently divorced woman on pof about five or six years ago. It wasn't anything serious, we used meet up for a bit of casual fun whenever she was in the mood. A fwbs introduced me to fab we where gonna do the "couples thing and meet other couples but he had other plans....but needless to say fwbs has open my eyes to a whole new world of possibilities...and we no longer talk oops time to find a new fwbs .... |
