Anyone noticed with E*r broadband that it keeps dropping out for no reason over the past few weeks. Turn off Internet on the phone, laptop and back on and connects again. Irritating as could be.

Not sure about this particular problem but I know broadband services have been maxed out with people working from home and watching Netflix etc with the lockdown

Report it as a fault and a eningeer will be able to look into it. Sounds like a umstable line possible

Sounds like the problems I was having with an old router. When it was swapped for a newer model it solved the issues

Usually eir fix the problem fairly quickly because they own the line for example if you were with Vodafone eir still carry out the repairs etc

I thought low speed was normal for Eir. I have a H signal at the moment and most times, unless i climb a tree and might get one bar of a 2G signal. I've never been able to contact anyone by phone at Eir.
