Following the announcement by the government yesterday we are delighted to announce that we currently plan on reopening on the friday 31st july for the August bank hokiday weekend. We will be open the friday - Sat & Sunday nights. However we will be complying with government guidelines therefore we will be restricting numbers. We will also be carrying out some work in the club and implementing measures to comply with health & safety guidelines. Please send us a pm to attend and let us know which night you would like to attend. Normal rules of the club still apply and you need to be verified in order to attend.
We would to thank everyone for their messages of support over the last few months and look forward to welcoming you back to the Vanilla Club. |

Teething problems are going to happen everywhere in these unprecedented times and any club, pub, shop, bank are no different. Everyone has to make a go of a business and the VC are providing us a place to meet like minded friends with social distancing not really being a part of this lifestyle so it's up to you as an individual how you interact in this scene or how you interact in any public premises going forward. Wash your hands regularly, bring your hand sanitizer and if you're feeling unwell stay at home.

Public Health Advice is as follows from Government & HSE.
- Wash your hands
- Practice good cough & sneeze etiquette
- Stay 2m away from others
- Avoid crowds
- Know the symptoms
So social distancing rules will be observed in the club?
People will avoid crowds?
No alcohol will be served also I assume?
Will the club be taking the name, address & contact details of every attendee to ensure that adequate contact tracing can take place if required?
Personally I can’t see how a swinging club can open & adhere to the guidelines required, that’s just my opinion. |

Can i ask why would u even bother . If ppl are going to be mixing saliva . Why would guests be worried about any of the guidelines.

A lot of talk from a man that does not go to the vanilla. If you are that interested in the health of the Irish population maybe you should go to shannon airport and tell all the American to go home! Also it a private membership club so allow to have a indoor function. Second it does not sell alcohol if you ever went you would know this. I for one have never pay any money for alcohol there.

Don't know what Vanilla club you were in as they do sell alcohol. You purchase tokens for drinks from their bar. Maybe you didn't buy drink but there is a fully functioning bar in the club  |
