Have been really enjoying it on the re-watch. It holds up well. It's sad to think that the actor who played Shamey died. I'm also surprised that the rest of the cast didn't make a bigger splash.

Awful!

He was also in Adam & Paul, probably the greatest film ever made in Ireland

Both series are brilliant, really depicts the mood both before and after the crash.

Top tip for anyone wanting to re-watch, YouTube, scrap the R*E player, freezes every 2 mins for 30 seconds.

Pure F**king Mule!

brilliant film. And of course its director Lenny Abramson has continued to be great.

Can't believe how old this series is, and me by association

Was a great series, once you got past the idea that Midlands natives had accents from all over Ireland!

I watched it again on the Player during lockdown. It's brilliant. You can't help but use their accents when talking about it

Oh there was lots of it before 2005, it’s not something you really see out at nite these days I think in pub and clubs. Back then there was more open ‘shifting’ in front of everyone. Maybe now people are more into cocktails and taking pictures of themselves than on the lookout for the shift. Lol.
