Safest country

So according to Forbes, the good people of Switzerland have made their country the safest place to live with Covid worldwide. Considering the geographic location and proximity to Italy it's no bad feat.

Ya, I've read the other day the Swiss police handed out facemasks to the blm demonstrators and then kneeled down together with them.

Anyhow, I think Ireland as an island could do better than 38 if we'd take more seriously who gets in and out of this country. I'd go as far as Ireland could become covid-19 free if played right.

Also now it's the time to revise the health sector and undo some of this damaging privatisation stuff.

People suffering from Cystic Fibrosis in Ireland is probably the highest on the planet, very easily susceptible to Civid-19. Could be a factor is why it’s why we are ‘down the list’ so to speak.

Hard for us to control access to the island when the idea of a border between the North and Britain is so politically tense

I'm surprised we are not worse than 38 to be honest. We are a tiny country with less than 5million people, yet we have about 100 times more deaths than any other country our size.

Our death per population count is shocking relative to the rest of the world.

Norway is probably the closest to us in terms of population and GDP, however even though it had a higher population and is attached to Sweden, it has less than 250 deaths.

Well we failed to protect the care homes properly leading to two thirds of our deaths. Also the Nordic countries governments have a Vitamin D3 supplement program and that has been proven to improve immunity enough to give one a better chance against the virus.

And what about Croatia? Nearly same size and population like Ireland, 2200 cases, around 100 deaths...and now everything is back as usual, like never nothing happened...oh can't wait for this summer holidays
