UK nears 50,000 dead...
US nears 114,000 dead....
Both countries are reopening way faster than us and with the virus still rampant.
Ireland has heartbreakingly amassed just under 1,700 dead but we seem to be well on on our way to eliminating the spread of the infection in our community, despite sharing a land border with the United Kingdom....
Well done to all but most especially to the dedicated front line staff, from the medical consultants and nurses right down to the hospital janitor and the Supervalu worker.
We all played a part but we're nearly there. Go team!

Northern Ireland has had 3 days in a row without a death. This is very good news as it looks like they managed to avoid the absolute car crash that was the UK.
Its entirely possible that the virus has started to burn itself out. Fingers and willies crossed... |

Haven't actually been monitoring the North, that's great to hear! I know it hit Enniskillen pretty hard....
3 days is great! Let's hope we've it licked so we can go back to licking other things! |
