Coronavirus, I have asthma and immunity issues.
Also, I can control the risk considerably in relation to STD exposure, unfortunately when it comes to covid, I'm relying on other people to behave responsibly and with regard for others, life has taught me to not entirely optimistic on that front. |

Corona virus due to asthma and the fact if I get it and when asymptomatic bring it to work people will most likely die. That is something that would be really hard to live with.As Casey said with covid you have to rely on others more than anything else.
I have control over who I have sex with and can take as many precautions as I can to help prevent it and get tested regularly. It still isn't fool-proof but has worked so far. |

"STD for me. Think it would be the humiliation that i would struggle with."
Nothing to be humiliated about. If you're sexually active an STI is a risk factor. |

"STD for me. Think it would be the humiliation that i would struggle with."
I went to a sexual health clinic in October just make sure I was fine
Absolutely no humiliation or judgement from clinic staff.
The people in the waiting room were just sitting there watching the tv or their phones...I was amazed to be honest as I hadn't been in one since I was 18 and by jesus was it different in those days.
The whole point of it then was to shame you.
I remember asking the receptionist in a timid voice to be directed to the"special Clinic"
She actually said to me in a loud voice "follow the green line to the VD clinic" ...charming |

Herpes, syphilis and hiv can all affect your hearing so she was just playing it safe!

Interesting replies, I’d be less sexually active now than in my younger years, but still would be more concerned about std, specially if not knowing a persons drug history. On here you have to rely on honesty, which can be in short supply.
Do you think ‘going forward’ would covid have an effect of ‘Fab’ or will it be business as usual once restrictions are lifted. |

Ya I'd take covid over an STD more than likely I would feel like shit for a week or so. Than it would be done with.
Some STD'S are with you for life or require a course of some drug. So ya I'd suck up a week of feeling like shit. |
