Hi there everyone. Hope you are all well and staying healthy. I went through Seattle Airport on December 19th last on my way to fairbanks alaska. I went to bed that night feeling terrible with a cough.
I spent the next two weeks in bed with what I thought was a bad flu.
I never had been this unwell before. The headaches and fever were terrible for five days.
Then the fever and headaches stopped. I had no energy at all and stayed in bed for 10 days..
My point is that the virus was spreading around the world before we realised what was happening.
My advice to people is go to work if you have work. Limit social contact as much as possible. Practice super hygiene and cover your mouth and nose when in public. Stay safe  |

There is HSE and Gov advice that contradicts that - go to work only when absolutely necessary and working from home is not an alternative.
Having the illness does not make you an authority on it, get well soon.  |

The op didn't say he was an authority on it but was giving his advice.

Thanks for reading the post and understanding it. We will just have to be as careful as possible. We can't stay hidden for ever. This virus is here for God knows how long |

Yeah I read something a while ago that there may have been a case in France in December.
The consensus is that it began in China back in November so it must have been spreading from that time. I mean, surely more than a few Chinese people had traveled to other countries during that period.
I know a few people who are convinced they had it around Christmas time.
There must be thousands of people who have had it and never knew. |

People thought that they had a bad flu and anyone with general bad health couldn't fight the virus and were hospitalised etc |
